user.email

user.email is a string variable containing the email address of the currently logged-in reader. This is empty if the reader is not logged in or if the reader has not provided an email address in their account settings.

It can also be used as a boolean variable; it is true if it contains a value.

Blog system account holders enter their email addresses in the Email text field of the Settings section for their account.

Example

The example below displays Welcome, followed by the reader's email address if the reader's email address is known:
