publish_time.zone

publish_time.zone is a string variable containing the standardized abbreviation for the timezone set for the article.

Timezones are set on a per-article basis. This is done by selecting a timezone from the Timezone menu, which is located in the Advanced Article Options sidebar of the Post Article or Edit Article page.

Example

The following displays the standardized abbreviation for the timezone set for the article immediately after Time zone:

Time zone: {{publish_time.zone}}.

For an article posted on Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at 19:23:26 Eastern Standard Time, the above would cause EST to be displayed.
