Component Styles |

These styles apply to components, which are pre-formatted elements of the blog that can appear in the header, sidebars, or footer.
Archive Months
This component lists the month of the article(s) currently being viewed and up to four of the previous months, if the blog goes back that far.

Archive Years
This component lists the year of the article(s) currently being viewed and up to four of the previous years, if the blog goes back that far.

Styles the text of the Archive Years component. This is also used to style the text of the Month Archive component.
Blog Name
This component displays the name of the blog in large text. Clicking on it takes the reader to the blog's main page.

Styles the text of the Blog Name in its various link states.
Calendar
This component displays a month calendar for the month of the article(s) currently being viewed.

The content of a Calendar component is contained within a div whose style is componentCalendar.

Styles the text of the days ("1", "2", "3", … "31") in a Calendar component.

Styles the text of the row containing the names of the days ("Sun", "Mon", "Tue", … "Sat") in a Calendar component.
Categories
This component displays a list of the names of any categories below the current one. Clicking on a category name takes the reader to that category.

Styles each item in the list of categories in a Topics component. The Topics component lists all subcategories of the current category.

Category RSS Feed
This component displays the text Syndicate This Category, which links to the RSS feed for the current category.

Styles the text of the Syndicate This Category link.
Category Tree
This component displays a tree (similar to the file tree in Explorer in Windows) that shows all the categories in the blog. Readers can use this to navigate the blog's categories.
This component uses some hard-coded styles not defined in the style sheet.
Edit Entry
This component appears only when both of the following conditions are met:
| • | An article is being read on its own page |
| • | The reader is logged in and has permission to edit the article |
It displays the text Edit Entry, which the reader can click to go to the Edit Entry page in the Publisher Control Panel for the current article.

Styles the text of the Edit Entry link.
Email Notifications Link
This component displays the text Subscribe, which links to the Account Creation and Subscription Options page, where the reader can sign up to be notified by email whenever a new article or comment is posted to the blog.

Styles the text of the Subscribe link, which allows logged-in users to subscribe to email notifications whenever a new article or comment is posted to the blog.
Enhanced Search
This component provides a text box into which the reader can type words to search the blog for and a button marked Go to start the search. Enhanced search has an extra feature not found in the regular Search component: the Search All Blogs checkbox. If checked, the reader is taken to the Technorati page for the search terms provided.

Favorites
This component lists any number of website names, which are linked to those sites. The blog owner can edit these lists. Some people refer to such lists as blogrolls. (They may have once been called blogrolls within the blog system, hence its styles' names.)

Home Link
This component displays the text Home, which links to the blog's main page.

Login Form
This component provides two textboxes, Username and Password, and a Login button, which the reader can use to log in. This component appears only if the reader is not logged in.

Logout Button
This component displays a button marked Logout, which the reader can use to log out. This component appears only if the reader is logged-in.

Post Entry
This component appears only when the reader is logged in and has permission to post articles. It displays the text Post New Entry, which the reader can click to go to the New Entry page in the Publisher Control Panel.

Recent Articles
This component lists the titles of up to five of the most recently posted articles. Clicking on a title takes the reader to that article's page.

Recent Entries
This component lists the titles of up to five of the most recently posted entries. Clicking on a title takes the reader to that entry's page.
This is the most generic of the Recent pages. An entry in this list may be an article, review, or photo.

This component displays the text Syndicate, which links to the RSS feed for the blog.
