Checking Your Blog's Template-Editing Capabilities |

Editing templates and having sets of templates for each category are both optional. Before you start editing templates, you should see what template-editing capabilities have been enabled for your weblog (blog).
Checking to See if You Can Edit and Add Templates
To check whether you can edit and add templates, go to the Look and Feel section by clicking on the Look and Feel tab of the navigation bar, then look at the submenu in the navigation bar.
| • | If the submenu in the navigation bar will has three items, you can edit and add templates. |

| • | If the submenu in the navigation bar has only one item, you cannot edit and add templates. |

If you want the ability to add and edit templates enabled for your blog, contact your blog system service provider.
Checking to See If You Have Category-Specific Templates
Note This section applies only if you can edit and add templates. |
To check whether you can edit and add templates, go to the Look and Feel section by clicking on the Look and Feel tab of the navigation bar, then look at the page.

| • | If the Templates page shows both a category tree down the left side of the page and lists of templates, you have multiple sets of templates, one for each category in your weblog. |

| • | If the Templates page shows only lists of templates, you have a single set of templates that applies to all categories in your weblog. |
