Message of the Day
The "Message of the Day" is a venerable tradition dating back to the earliest time-shared computer systems. It is a brief message shown to users immediately after logging in and is used to make announcements or simply display a clever quote.
Blogware lets you show a Message of the Day to your customers. It is displayed on the main page of the Dashboard (the first page your customers see after logging in), just below the title of the blog:

Getting to the Administration Settings Form
You can set the Message of the Day using the Administration Settings form on the Settings page. To get to this form, go to the Settings section by clicking on the Settings tab in the Navigation Bar.

Setting the Message of the Day
The Administration Settings area allows you to define a Message of the Day which your users will see on the main page of the Dashboard in their Control Panels.

To display a Message of the Day:
| • | Enter your message into the Message of the day field. HTML is allowed. |
| • | Click the Save Changes button. |
To turn off the Message of the Day:
| • | Leave the Message of the day field blank. |
| • | Click the Save Changes button. |
Don't make your Message of the Day too long or format it so that it takes up a lot of space. The more space your message takes up, the more your customers will have to scroll to access the controls on the Dashboard page.
