Blogware sets limits on the rate of trial blog creation and content creation. Rate limiting enhances Blogware's performance and protects blogs from spammers.
For trial and live blogs, limits are placed on the number of:
Limits for the number of categories are:
Trials: 50 / blog
Live: 500 / blog
If these limits are exceeded, the system sends an email message to blog owner.
Limits for the number of posts are:
Trials: 10 / hour / blog
Live: 50 / hour / blog
Any posts submitted once the hourly limit has been reached will be denied and will have to be resubmitted, and a notification email message is sent to the blog owner. These limits do not apply to zip files for photos, or to importing a blog.
Limits for the number of moblog posts are:
Trials: 10 / hour / blog
Live: 25 / hour / blog
Any moblog posts submitted once the hourly limit has been reached will be denied and will have to be resubmitted. An email message is sent to the email addresses that the user specified in the Remote Posting Errors section of the General Settings page in the Publisher Control Panel. This limit does not apply to zip files for photos.
The maximum number of trial blogs that a Reseller can create is:
100 / day
If this limit is exceeded, the Reseller will be asked to evaluate their categories or to put a captcha on the signup page.
