Horizon Environment

As of October 2006, a Horizon environment is available for Resellers to preview upcoming changes to the Blogware system. The Publisher Control Panel, Reseller Control Panel, and the Blogware Provisioning API will all be available from the Horizon environment: horizon.blogware.com.

In order to preview and test new functionality, you will need to create blogs in the Horizon environment. Blogs in your Reseller profile (on live) will not be duplicated in the Horizon environment.

To access the Horizon Reseller Control Panel: go to https://horizon.blogware.com/resellers/ and log-in using your Reseller username and password.  Use the Horizon Reseller Control Panel to create horizon blogs and users as necessary. 

To access the Horizon Publisher Control Panel: go to http://horizon.blogware.com/admin/. Use the Horizon blogs and users that you have created to preview and test the Publisher Control Panel.

Accessing blogs on the Horizon environment

Horizon blogs will only resolve to IP addresses that have been specified in the live instance of the Reseller Control Panel. Each Reseller can access their horizon blogs using a maximum of three IP addresses.  IP addresses can be added or removed as necessary, to a maximum of three.

To add or delete an IP address for Horizon access:

1. In the Reseller Control Panel, click the Settings tab. The Edit Settings page opens.

2. In the Blogware Horizon Access section, use the IP Address textbox, checkboxes, and buttons to add or delete IP addresses.
