Components and Component Profiles

Components provide some of the functionality available for use in your customers' blogs.  Blogware provides a variety of predefined components (e.g. Home Link, Recent Entries, Categories, etc.), as well as the ability for you and your customers to create custom components.  For more information, see the Managing Components and Blogroll Components sections.

You also have the ability to group these system and/or custom components into profiles, which you can assign to blogs as they are created.  For more information, see the Component Profiles section.

Your customers have the option to move or disable the components that make up their blog.  However, you can mark a component as mandatory, which will prevent blog owners from disabling them.  For more information, see the Making a Component Mandatory section.
